2025, ONE MONTH DESIGN PROJECT DEVELOPED DURING MZANZI CLIMATE JUSTICE GAME JAM
TEAM OF FOUR Aengus Schulte, Luciane Fortes, Mariska Lamiaud, Poorvi Garag

LINKS is a narrative-driven analogue game exploring how social, environmental, economic, and cultural forces collide in the age of the climate crisis.

Throughout the game, you and your fellow players will take on the identities of disparate figures with varying core interests and vote on policies that support your beliefs. As the game goes on, however, these priorities may shift in response to events in your life, climate crises, and the shifting landscape of the political board.

LINKS challenges players to move beyond individualism and into systems thinking, as it highlights how individualism leads to complex and complicated climate-policy outcomes. By creating space for confrontation, imagination, and empathy, LINKS invites participants to question not just what we do about climate change, but who we are within it.
